Clear Water Repellents
Much like sealants, the technology for water repellents has improved over the years. The controversy once surrounding moisture being trapped in the masonry has been resolved. Silicone and acrylic "sealers" have been replaced with silane and siloxanes materials, providing greater penetration and increased permeability for vapor transmission.
Although, water repellents may not be necessary for all masonry structures, and are definitely not the "cure-all" for water infiltration problems, these materials have value in the market when used appropriately.
Our trained personnel understand when water repellents are beneficial, and which products will perform best for the specific application.
