The Crestwood, located in Kansas City, was completed in 1919. It originally operated as a hotel but was converted into luxury condominiums in 2005. Mid-Continental Restoration was brought in to complete updates to the balconies and terraces on the exterior of the building. Due to age and poor installation processes, the original waterproofing membranes were beginning to fail risking damage to the interior of the units below. Our skilled craftsmen removed the old membranes and replaced them with a more modern and effective flake waterproofing system. This durable material provides both a decorative, textured surface for pedestrians and will protect the building’s interior from moisture long into the future.
