The approach to any project, particularly those of historic value, is to understand what repair method, and the procedures used are best for the preservation of the structure. Sophian Plaza Update
The Sophian Plaza was designed by Charles Shepard at the request of Henry Sophian and constructed in 1923. Located in the country club plaza region of Kansas City, Missouri, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Beaux Arts style façade is comprised of cast stone, stucco, brick, and natural limestone. Many of these building elements had begun to show signs of deterioration typical of a building of this age.
