Working closely with campus planning, we have helped budget long term maintenance and repair plans for entire campuses. With an abundance of experienced craftsmen available we are able to accommodate fast-track projects during the short summer work season, minimizing disruption to the educational atmosphere.

Barson Building at Oklahoma State University – Tulsa

The Center for Health Sciences campus of OSU in Tulsa has elected to repair one of the few older buildings on its campus rather than replace it. Specifically, the Barson Building required repair work due to the spalling concrete present throughout its entire exterior, which was caused by corroded reinforcing steel located under the surface. To carry out the required repairs, MCR was awarded the project. Our work on the Barson Building focused on repairing the exterior by removing any loose concrete, cleaning the steel, and patching it back up with new concrete repair mortar. We then cut out and...
