Religious Institutions
Mid-Continental was originally founded by Frank J. Doherty, in 1946, as a church painting contractor. He learned that to guarantee the inside painting work, it was sometimes necessary to make some repairs to the exterior. The ability to access and complete exterior repairs soon became the primary expertise of the company.
Over the years, Mid-Continental has successfully completed exterior repairs, restoration and preservation work on hundreds if not thousands of different religious structures, ranging from small country churches, to diocesan cathedrals, and parochial schools, to colleges. Our trained and experienced craftsmen provide the church lay persons with a certain confidence that the repairs are completed correctly and professionally.
